$17.00/hour $18.00/hour after 90 days

Temp-to-Hire GL Staffing is hiring experienced Landscapers / Groundskeepers for the residential landscaping division of a prestigious private golf and country club community in Windermere. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity maintaining the lawns and landscaping of luxury residential properties throughout a gated community with more than 350 homes. Why This Is a Great Landscaping Opportunity $17/hr starting pay Pay increase to $18/hr after 90 days Temp-to-perm with the goal of becoming a permanent employee Eligible for company benefits and PTO after 30 days of permanent employment One consistent work location — no driving around Orlando from job site to job site All landscaping equipment, tools, and required PPE are provided Stable, full-time opportunity with room for long-term employment Job Responsibilities Mow and maintain residential lawns Operate lawn mowers, weed trimmers, edgers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment Plant and replant flowers, shrubs, and other vegetation Weed and maintain flower beds and landscaped areas Perform edging, trimming, pruning, planting, and general groundskeeping Maintain clean and attractive residential properties Assist with other outdoor landscaping projects as needed Requirements Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience required Experience with lawn mowers, weed eaters/trimmers, edgers, blowers, and basic landscaping tools Knowledge of planting, potting, weeding, and general lawn maintenance preferred Must be comfortable working outdoors for the entire shift , including Florida heat Must meet the client's background screening requirements Clean, professional appearance required due to the private residential environment Strong attendance and reliable transportation Must provide your own closed-toe work shoes Must be respectful and professional while working around residents and private homes Equipment Provided The company provides all landscaping equipment, tools, and required PPE . Employees only need to provide their own appropriate closed-toe work shoes . One Location - No Driving Between Job Sites A major advantage of this position is that you report to and work within the same private community every day. Unlike many landscaping jobs, you won't spend your day driving a company truck or personal vehicle from property to property across Orlando. Once you arrive for work, your entire workday stays within the community.
