A Landscaping or Groundskeeping Worker provides landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Provides care for plants and trees including mowing, trimming and planting, and repairs driveways, walks, benches or other structures.
An ideal candidate would be skilled and highly motivated, with a focus on working safely and providing outstanding customer service. The core requirements of the Maintenance Driver/Crew Member will be to assist in conducting site inspections and assistance the crew leader in normal lawn maintenance services. Promotion to foreman available after manager review.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in providing proper landscape methods and procedures, providing corrections as needed Inspect all grounds, lawns, landscaped areas, and landscaping regularly Ensure properties are maintained in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion Report any unsafe or improperly maintained conditions and correct them where necessary Operate commercial mowers, push mower 21, weed-eater, blower, edgers, and recognize safety procedures and best practices Perform minor repairs and adjustments on machinery Operation of lawncare machinery, company trucks, and grounds maintenance equipment Constant communication with foreman and managers Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA and other Jobsite and Driver Safety Regulations, Company Policies, and Procedures Maintain tools and equipment in good, safe working condition Maintain Company Vehicle as per Company Requirements Attend and participate in required safety, training, and leadership meetings as applicable Work following all local health and safety laws and regulations at the shop, yard, and on-site

Requirements:
Good understanding of plans and seasonal changes At least 1 year of ground maintenance experience Experience in all phases of landscaping (plant ID, pruning, mulching, mowing, edging, etc.) is a nice to know, but not required. Experience with 2 Cycle Equipment to include (but not limit) Gas Shears, Chainsaw, Brush Cutters Operation of a Company Vehicle is Required - acceptable MVR for business travel and reliable transportation to and from the office Carry and use a smartphone and/or data-enabled device for business communications and reporting Basic computer skills including email and Microsoft Office Work Conditions /
