Experienced Landscaping Laborer Arise and Shine Lawn Care Management is a growing, family-owned landscaping company seeking a dependable, hardworking, and motivated individual who takes pride in quality work. Position Landscaping Laborer / General Laborer Employment Type Full-Time (with opportunities for overtime based on workload) Job Responsibilities As a Landscaping Laborer, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Lawn mowing, edging, string trimming, and blowing properties clean Weed removal and flower bed maintenance Mulching, planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and sod installation Bush, hedge, and small tree trimming and pruning Spring and fall cleanups Leaf removal and debris cleanup Spreading pine straw, mulch, gravel, and other landscape materials Digging trenches and preparing planting beds Assisting with drainage, grading, and erosion control projects Assisting with retaining walls, paver installations, and other hardscape projects (experience is a plus) Loading and unloading equipment, tools, and materials Safely operating landscaping equipment such as: Zero-turn mowers Push mowers Weed eaters Backpack blowers Hedge trimmers Chainsaws (preferred) Edgers Cleaning, maintaining, and organizing equipment and work vehicles Following all company safety procedures while on job sites Providing professional and respectful customer service when interacting with clients Qualifications We're looking for someone who: ✔ Has previous landscaping, lawn care, construction, or general labor experience ✔ Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude ✔ Is dependable and shows up on time every day ✔ Can work efficiently with little supervision ✔ Can lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly ✔ Can work outdoors in Georgia's heat, cold, and changing weather conditions ✔ Has reliable transportation to and from work ✔ Can follow directions and communicate effectively ✔ Pays attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work ✔ Works well with others and respects coworkers and customers Preferred Qualifications These are not required but are a plus: Valid driver's license Experience driving a truck with a trailer Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment Irrigation knowledge Hardscape experience Tree trimming experience Ability to lead a crew in the future What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for advancement as the company grows Consistent work A respectful, family-oriented work environment Hands-on training for motivated individuals willing to learn Performance-based raises for dependable employees We Are Looking for Someone Who Shows up every day ready to work Doesn't cut corners Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told every step Treats company equipment with respect Represents our company professionally Wants to build a career, not just collect a paycheck Compensation Pay is based on experience and skill level.
