Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mower/Landscaper to join our outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes through mowing, trimming, planting, and other groundskeeping activities. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work and commitment to safety will help ensure the grounds are pristine and inviting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in dynamic outdoor environments, utilizing a variety of landscape maintenance tools and techniques to create stunning outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Operate lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge cutters, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently to maintain lawns, gardens, and hardscape areas. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and weed control to uphold aesthetic standards. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to provide appropriate care or report health concerns. Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to promote healthy plant growth while minimizing environmental impact. Conduct routine inspections of grounds for safety hazards or maintenance needs and perform minor repairs on equipment or landscape features. Assist with snow plowing or removal during winter months to ensure safe access to outdoor spaces year-round. Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. Mechanical knowledge of groundskeeping and landscaping equipment operation including power tools and hand tools. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pest management techniques. Ability to operate irrigation systems and perform basic troubleshooting or repairs. Familiarity with safety protocols related to equipment use, chemical handling, and outdoor work environments. Excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, standing, and walking over extended periods in various weather conditions.
