$14 per hour Assignment length: Temporary project expected to last a few months We are hiring a Temporary Groundskeeper to help keep an apartment community clean and presentable. The main focus is picking up trash and debris throughout the property. This is a hands-on role that also includes cleaning vacant units and helping with other property projects as needed. Responsibilities Walk the property regularly to collect litter and debris from lawns, sidewalks, parking areas, breezeways, and other common areas. Empty outdoor trash containers and keep dumpster areas clean. Bag, move, and dispose of trash and discarded items as directed. Clean out vacant apartment units and remove debris to help prepare them for maintenance work or new residents. Assist with pressure washing when assigned. Help property staff move items and clean up when an eviction is scheduled, following the supervisor's instructions. Report damage, hazards, or maintenance concerns noticed while working around the property. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and use them safely. Requirements Valid driver's license and clean driving record. No criminal background within the past seven years. Dependable attendance and professional communication with residents and coworkers. Ability to perform physical work outdoors, including walking the property, bending, lifting, and moving discarded items. Ability to use assigned tools and equipment safely.
