A Landscaping or Groundskeeping Worker provides landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Provides care for plants and trees including mowing, trimming and planting, and repairs driveways, walks, benches or other structures.
Coastal Bloomers, a division of Dynamic Landscape, is seeking a dependable and versatile Landscape Field Technician to join our St Simons Island team. This is a hands-on outdoor position for someone who takes pride in quality work, pays attention to detail, and is willing to help wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain flower beds, planting areas, and containers. Complete small landscape installations and seasonal color projects. Install mulch, pine straw, soil, plants, edging, and other landscape materials. Perform detailed pruning, grooming, and plant maintenance. Assist with minor irrigation repairs and adjustments. Deliver plants, materials, tools, and equipment to job sites. Operate company trucks and utility trailers safely. Maintain clean and organized vehicles, equipment, job sites, and warehouse areas. Identify and communicate landscape, plant, irrigation, or equipment issues. Assist with other field and operational needs as assigned.
Qualifications:
Landscaping, horticulture, gardening, or grounds maintenance experience preferred. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Comfortable driving a company truck and pulling/backing a utility trailer. Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools. Plant identification, pruning, horticultural, or irrigation knowledge is a plus. Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative. Comfortable performing physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
