Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a part-time, seasonal Landscaper and help create beautiful, well-maintained outdoor spaces! This energetic role is perfect for individuals passionate about gardening, landscape maintenance, and outdoor craftsmanship. As a Landscaper during the summer months, you will play a vital part in transforming landscapes, ensuring they thrive and look their best. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, landscaping, and outdoor construction while working in a lively environment. Duties Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain pristine turf areas. Use hand tools and power tools to install and maintain hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care to promote healthy growth. Operate equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems for installation and repairs. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties year-round. Support gardening activities by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while adhering to horticultural best practices. Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment. Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred. Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care techniques, and irrigation systems is advantageous. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward safety and maintenance procedures. Prior experience with construction or hardscape projects is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
