We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dedicated team at Woodmont Golf and Country Club . This is a position responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our esteemed golf course. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for creating exceptional golfing experiences for our members and guests.Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing fairways, greens, and rough areas using various equipment including riding mowers, triplex mowers, and walk-behind mowers.
- Operate specialized machinery for aerating, topdressing, and fertilizing greens to maintain optimal turf conditions.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of landscaping features, including trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
- Maintain bunkers, ensuring they are properly raked, edged, and filled with sand to meet the highest standards.
- Follow strict safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the Golf Course Superintendent and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any maintenance issues promptly.
- Uphold the golf course's image by presenting a professional appearance and providing outstanding customer service to members and guests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred.
- Knowledge of golf course operations, including turf care, irrigation systems, and equipment operation.
- Ability to operate and maintain various golf course maintenance equipment and machinery.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
