This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to landscape projects, and develop a wide range of skills in horticulture, construction, and landscape maintenance. Whether you're trimming trees, installing hardscape features, or caring for lawns, your efforts will directly enhance the beauty and functionality of our clients' environments. This paid position welcomes motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in the landscaping industry. Duties Assist in landscape installation projects, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators for various landscaping tasks Perform lawn care activities like mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces pristine Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, and shrubbery care Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe Help with hardscape construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other stonework Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and tools effectively Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including excavators for construction tasks Knowledge of tree care techniques such as trimming and pruning for health and safety purposes Ability to perform snow plowing safely during winter seasons Strong understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance needs Basic construction skills for hardscape projects like patios or walkways Good physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in landscaping while contributing to vibrant outdoor environments.
