Overview Join our team for property Maintenance & Groundskeeper and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our residential community's outdoor spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your landscaping expertise and mechanical skills to create inviting environments for residents and visitors alike. Your dedication will ensure that the grounds are pristine, well-maintained, and compliant with safety standards, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all. Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and weed control to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools with precision and safety in mind Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to maintain healthy plant life Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and assessing health to promote safety and aesthetic appeal Apply horticultural knowledge for plant identification, pest management, and soil care to support sustainable landscaping practices Maintain outdoor amenities by cleaning hardscape features, repairing fencing or pathways, and managing snow plowing during winter months Follow strict safety protocols during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Experience Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and groundskeeping techniques Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, lawn care equipment, irrigation systems, and landscaping machinery Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, pesticide management, and tree care practices Ability to operate ground maintenance equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety standards Experience in snow plowing or winter weather outdoor maintenance is a plus Knowledge of hardscape features such as pathways or retaining walls is beneficial Strong attention to detail combined with physical stamina for outdoor tasks in various weather conditions Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces that enhance our residents' quality of life!
