Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining pristine, playable golf course grounds. This energetic position involves performing a variety of landscaping, groundskeeping, and equipment operation tasks to ensure the course remains beautiful, safe, and inviting for players. You will be responsible for maintaining turf health, managing irrigation systems, and supporting overall course aesthetics through manual labor and equipment handling. Responsibilities Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and irrigation systems to keep the course in excellent condition Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy turf and plant life Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and prevent water wastage Conduct regular inspections of the course for hazards or damage, performing necessary repairs or reporting issues promptly Use hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, trimming, and debris removal while adhering to safety protocols Assist with pesticide management by applying treatments responsibly to control pests and weeds in accordance with regulations Support heavy lifting activities involving soil, mulch, or equipment to facilitate landscaping projects Skills Proficiency in irrigation system operation and troubleshooting Experience with athletic field groundskeeping and landscape maintenance techniques Skilled in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools including chainsaws and trimmers Knowledge of pesticide management practices aligned with safety standards Ability to operate company vehicles and groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety during heavy lifting tasks Familiarity with lawn care, gardening practices, and general landscaping principles Understanding of power tool safety procedures and equipment maintenance protocols This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment where your efforts directly impact the quality of the golf course experience.
