Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and energetic Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all grounds, including athletic fields, landscaping areas, and golf course surfaces, are kept in pristine condition. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep grounds healthy and attractive Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment including lawn mowers, power tools, chainsaws, irrigation systems, and other landscaping machinery Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Conduct athletic field groundskeeping to prepare sports surfaces for play, including leveling and marking fields Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, manual handling of soil or plants, and using hand tools safely and effectively Apply pesticides or herbicides following safety protocols to control pests and weeds on golf courses or landscaped areas Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces by removing debris, trash, and ensuring pathways are clear and safe for visitors Skills Proficiency in irrigation system management and troubleshooting Experience with athletic field groundskeeping or golf course maintenance Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including gardening, lawn care, pruning, and planting techniques Ability to operate ground maintenance equipment safely and perform routine equipment maintenance Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, chainsaws, and other landscaping machinery Knowledge of pesticide management procedures adhering to safety standards Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Familiarity with company vehicle operation for transporting equipment or supplies when necessary Join our team as a Groundskeeper where your dedication will directly impact the quality of our outdoor environments!
