Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscaper and Junk Removal Specialist to join our outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful landscapes, performing groundskeeping tasks, and efficiently removing debris and unwanted materials from residential and commercial properties. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, combined with your technical skills and attention to safety, will help create inviting, well-kept environments that clients love. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your landscaping expertise while contributing to community beautification projects. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and edging to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and effectively Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to provide proper care and recommend appropriate landscaping solutions Manage pest control by applying pesticides responsibly following safety protocols and environmental guidelines Remove debris, junk, and unwanted materials from properties using appropriate tools and techniques to maintain cleanliness and safety Install or repair hardscape features such as pathways, patios, retaining walls, or garden beds as needed Follow all safety procedures diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is highly preferred Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, planting, pruning, and irrigation system management Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and grounds equipment operation is essential Understanding of horticulture principles such as plant identification, lawn care, tree care, and gardening techniques Ability to adhere to safety protocols consistently while operating machinery or handling hazardous materials Experience with snow plowing or winter outdoor maintenance is a plus but not required Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment will enhance your effectiveness in this role Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
