Job Description

Employee performs all duties to maintain a superior appearance of building and grounds at the Wastewater Treatment Plants. Assists with unloading and accepting deliveries of chemicals and supplies. Performs maintenance in buildings including minor and routine painting, lighting, plumbing, landscaping and other related maintenance activities as assigned by supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs cleaning duties as needed to maintain superior appearance of interior and exterior of buildings, including but not limited to cleaning floors, windows, furniture, breakroom, and emptying and disposing of trash. Cleans and disinfects restroom and restocks supplies as necessary. Reports the need for maintenance and repair; submits work orders as required. Maintains basic records of work performed. Performs general maintenance duties including, but not limited to, minor and routine painting, lighting and plumbing. Performs general grounds/landscaping maintenance to include cutting grass, pressure washing, bush hogging and pruning. Assist with cleaning clarifiers, basins, head-works and ATAD pipe gallery. Assists Plant Operators as needed with unloading plant chemicals, moving and hooking up polymer totes, accepting deliveries, along with other operational duties as needed. Observes and follows all HCWA safety rules and regulations. Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Georgia Driver's License.
