Job Description
Position Summary Responsible for performing varied task for the upkeep and care of hospital grounds. Landscapes and maintains property to an attractive and healthy environment. Position includes the following task, but not limited to a combination of: Mowing, trimming, planting, fertilizing, watering, sod laying, digging, raking, sprinkler/irrigation installation, trash/debris clean-up, painting and pressure washing. Education High School Diploma - Preferred Experience 2-3 Years - Preferred License & Certification None Required Core Job Functions Operates powered maintenance equipment in a safe manner wearing the proper PPE and is conscious of patients/visitors/co-workers at all times. While using all required PPE, selects proper chemical for each application. Understand and follows MSDS guidelines and Best Management Practices at all times. Assist Property Maintenance Manager in the planning, organizing, and completion of grounds maintenance. Completes all task based on established routines and deadlines. Resolves Work Orders and concerns in a safe and timely manner. Identifies concerns, damage, or positive changes that may be needed and makes recommendation to Ground Property Maintenance Manager to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
