Millpond, a private timber and quail hunting property in Thomasville, Georgia, is looking for a dependable, hardworking Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Assistant to help care for our beautiful grounds, historic gardens, main house, and property facilities. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and appreciates maintaining a well-kept private property. What You'll Do Mow and maintain lawns and grounds Maintain historic gardens, including watering, pruning, weeding, winter overseeding, and edging beds Maintain landscaping tools and equipment Split, stack, and maintain the property's firewood supply Take household trash from the main house to the dumpster each morning Clean horse stalls each morning during quail season Clean and reset multiple fireplaces in the main house during quail season Assist with general property maintenance, cleanup, and other projects as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, self-motivated, and takes pride in doing a job well . Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, farm or estate maintenance, equestrian facilities, or similar work is helpful but not required. You should be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather and performing physical work, including lifting, moving and splitting firewood and cleaning horse stalls. The ability to work independently, follow directions, and pay attention to detail is important.

Pay:

$14.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 44.0 per week
