Groundskeeper Job Description The Groundskeeper is responsible for the general upkeep, appearance, and safety of the HOA's common outdoor areas. This role plays a vital part in maintaining curb appeal, supporting property values, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors. The position is primarily outdoors and involves routine grounds maintenance, seasonal work, and light exterior repairs. Responsibilities Maintain the general upkeep and appearance of common outdoor areas. Ensure safety across the HOA's outdoor spaces. Conduct routine grounds maintenance and seasonal work. Perform light exterior repairs as needed. Utilize hand and power tools for groundskeeping tasks. Assist in trash removal and general labor duties. Essential Skills Experience with groundskeeping and general labor. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to perform light repairs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Capability to handle general upkeep tasks. Flexibility to work occasional weekends, about once per quarter. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. The role requires occasional weekend availability, roughly once per quarter. The groundskeeping team consists of 7 members, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment primarily outdoors. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burke, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
