Job Description

oin our dynamic Tree Service team as a Groundman, where your energy and enthusiasm will help us deliver exceptional tree care and landscape maintenance services. In this vital role, you will support arborists and landscape professionals by assisting with tree trimming, pruning, and removal projects. Your hands-on involvement will ensure safety, efficiency, and quality in every job. Tree Groundman Responsibilities:
Carrying out all maintenance duties allocated by the Supervisor. Understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions. Assisting with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposals. Learning techniques and the proper use of tools from senior or more experienced crew members. Safely using tools and equipment like chippers and chainsaws to carry out maintenance tasks. Ensuring all sites are kept clean and free of hazards. Inspecting equipment and tools and performing repairs and maintenance when required. Using the appropriate gear and observing safety protocols. Reporting any issues or safety hazards to the Supervisor or other relevant parties.
Requirements:
You MUST work in a same industry for at least 3-5 years You MUST have a valid Class 3 driving license/ CDL required You MUST have rigging experience Clean driving record Hauling heavy equipment Driving large dump trucks Good physical strength, fitness, vision, and hearing Excellent balance and depth perception. The willingness to work during unfavorable weather conditions. A positive attitude.
