Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and become a vital part of creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! In this energetic role, you will assist with landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and hardscape projects, ensuring that outdoor environments are safe, vibrant, and inviting. Your hands-on work will involve operating various tools and equipment, identifying plants, and adhering to safety protocols—all while enjoying the rewarding experience of transforming landscapes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, construction, and outdoor grounds management while contributing to community beautification projects. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and watering to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive Operate ground maintenance and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Assist with hardscape installation and repair projects like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Conduct plant identification to ensure proper care and pest management; apply pesticides following safety guidelines when necessary Support tree care activities including planting, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth Maintain safety standards by following all safety protocols during outdoor work and equipment operation Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties Experience Prior outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools and landscape equipment is highly desirable Familiarity with irrigation systems, plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management is a plus Construction experience or knowledge of hardscape installation enhances your suitability for this role Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks Knowledge of safety procedures related to groundskeeping equipment operation is essential Previous experience with snow plowing or winter landscape maintenance is advantageous Join us in shaping beautiful landscapes while building your skills in a lively environment!
