Groundsperson Job Summary As a Groundsperson, you'll play an important role in supporting our tree crews by safely operating equipment, cleaning up job sites, assisting climbers and bucket operators, and helping keep projects running efficiently. This is a hands-on, outdoor position that requires teamwork, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety. What You'll Do Assist tree crews with daily job site operations. Safely operate chainsaws, wood chippers, and other equipment. Drag, stack, and feed brush into the chipper safely. Set up traffic control and maintain safe work zones. Identify hazards and help keep the job site safe. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE. Assist with emergency response procedures, including bucket rescue when trained. Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment. What We're Looking For Safety-first mindset. Ability to work well as part of a team. Willingness to learn and follow company procedures. Experience operating chainsaws or chippers is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right person. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus. Valid driver's license preferred. CDL is a plus. Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Work outdoors in all weather conditions. Walk, bend, climb, lift, and stand for extended periods.
