Job Description
Grounds Maintenance Site Lead The Claussen Group, LLC Position Overview The Claussen Group is looking for a dependable and self-motivated Grounds Maintenance Site Lead to independently maintain a customer property to our company's high standards. This is a hands-on, one-person position that is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in a property's appearance, and can manage daily responsibilities without constant supervision. You will be trusted to recognize what needs attention, organize your work, care for company equipment, and communicate professionally with the customer and our management team. What You'll Do Perform routine mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and landscape-bed maintenance. Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and other landscape materials as assigned. Install sod when needed. Water plant material and landscaped areas appropriately. Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other approved products according to instructions and safety requirements. Keep driveways, sidewalks, entrances, and other areas clean using hand tools or backpack blowers. Remove litter and maintain the overall appearance of the property. Complete occasional power-washing assignments. Perform basic inspections, cleaning, and minor maintenance on groundskeeping equipment. Identify property or equipment concerns and communicate them promptly. Maintain accurate records when required. Assist with snow and ice removal during the winter season. Follow all company and customer safety procedures. Complete other property-maintenance duties as assigned. What We're Looking For The right person for this position is dependable, observant, and comfortable being responsible for the condition of an assigned property. You should be able to work independently while still communicating effectively with management.
