Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves various tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of residential and commercial properties, ensuring they remain beautiful and well-maintained throughout the seasons. Duties As a Landscape Technician, your responsibilities will include: Building and maintaining various landscape features, including hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Digging and preparing soil for planting trees, shrubs, and other vegetation. Performing regular lawn care activities, including mowing, fertilizing, and aerating to promote healthy growth. Conducting tree care services such as trimming, pruning, and removal as needed. Carrying out landscape maintenance tasks to ensure properties are visually appealing year-round. Assisting with snow plowing during winter months to keep driveways and walkways clear. Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following: Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, tree trimming practices, and hardscape installation is beneficial. Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality work. A valid driver's license.
