In this position you will perform equipment operation and grounds maintenance at the golf course, athletic facilities, and/or parks, operate and maintain a variety of mowers, tractors, and grounds equipment, and support safe, clean, well-maintained recreation spaces in all types of weather. Full Job Description Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent. Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years. Skill in interpersonal relations and problem solving. Must pass an in-house exam in the use of wide-area mowers within two weeks of hire. Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Iowa for the type of vehicle or equipment operated. Must be at least 18 years of age. Post-offer/pre-employment background check and physical abilities assessment required. Pre-employment drug testing required.
