Job Description
Job Summary Join our landscape side that we are working on starting back up after focusing on only excavation for a few years we are ready to get back into some landscape construction. This is entry level and temporary currently with the goal of securing more work after this first large project. We only have around 15 days of work on this project but we are actively working on getting other work. The schedule after this job will fluctuate a lot Until more work is signed. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, planting using hand tools and power equipment Operate and install irrigation systems safely and efficiently Manage irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and adjusting controllers to ensure proper watering schedules Identify various plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees to support healthy growth and proper landscape design install pavers, retaining walls, steps, lighting. Conduct snow plowing or removal during winter months to maintain safe access to properties when applicable Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during outdoor work activities Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of landscape install, planting, and irrigation system operation is a plus Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and power tools like trimmers or blowers is beneficial Understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and basic pest management enhances job performance Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks is essential Commitment to safety protocol adherence ensures a secure working environment for yourself and team members This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in landscaping while contributing to vibrant outdoor spaces.
