Job Description

LocalLandscapingPartners.com is seeking established landscape maintenance subcontractors to complete outdoor property service projects throughout Des Plaines and Chicago's northwest and northern suburbs. This is paid, project-based 1099 subcontractor work for existing businesses and owner-operators. This is not an hourly landscaping position and is not intended for applicants seeking W-2 employment. We are interested in contractors that already have lawn-care or landscaping experience, reliable transportation, commercial equipment, and the ability to complete accepted jobs independently or with their own crew. Pay Compensation is determined on a project-by-project basis before accepted work is completed. Typical smaller property-maintenance and cleanup jobs may range from: $200 to $1,500 per completed project Larger landscape, irrigation, hardscape, drainage, installation, and property-improvement projects may pay more based on the approved scope and agreed job terms. Schedule Contractors maintain their own availability.

During weekdays On weekends when appropriate As recurring maintenance As one-time service As seasonal work Job availability varies by service area, customer demand, services offered, season, and contractor availability. Services We are particularly interested in contractors capable of completing services such as: Recurring lawn maintenance Mowing Edging String trimming Blower cleanup Spring cleanups Fall cleanups Leaf removal Mulch Garden-bed maintenance Hedge and shrub trimming Ornamental pruning Plant installation Sod Lawn repair Irrigation Drainage Grading Pavers Patios Walkways Retaining walls Outdoor debris removal Commercial grounds maintenance Residential property maintenance Snow plowing Salting Ice management Applicants may specialize in only some of these services. Responsibilities Contractors completing accepted work are responsible for: Supplying their own labor and crew when needed Providing their own trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment Completing work according to agreed job details Communicating professionally Keeping appointments Providing before/after photos when requested Maintaining required insurance Reporting job or scope issues promptly Leaving the property clean and professional Contractor Requirements Applicants should have: An existing landscaping, lawn-care, hardscape, irrigation, snow-removal, or outdoor-property-service operation EIN/W-9 readiness Business general liability insurance or ability to secure required coverage before starting Reliable truck or work vehicle Lawn-care or landscaping equipment appropriate for the services offered Ability to service customer properties without daily supervision Current capacity for additional project-based work Professional communication skills Service Area This opening is focused on Des Plaines and surrounding northern/northwest suburban markets, potentially including: Des Plaines Park Ridge Niles Morton Grove Glenview Mount Prospect Prospect Heights Arlington Heights Rolling Meadows Elk Grove Village Schaumburg Palatine Wheeling Northbrook Skokie Nearby northwest and northern suburban communities Applicants will identify their actual travel radius and the cities/ZIP codes they can reliably service. Contractor Support For accepted projects, support may include: Customer intake Work-order details Scheduling coordination Customer communication support Payment-processing support Administrative coordination Contractors remain responsible for professional completion of accepted field work. Pay:
$55.00 - $150.00 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 - 40.0 per week
