Previous experience is welcome, but you can start without it. When the snow stops at 5am, you are the reason the front entrance is safe to walk before the building opens.

Who You Are:

You take pride in a walkway cleared corner to corner and salted right, safe for whoever comes through next. You are the kind of teammate others want next to them at 4am in the cold. You believe safety comes first, and you follow the procedures and direction your supervisor sets. You bring on-call availability from November through March, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays, and you report promptly when dispatched. You bring reliable transportation and a phone you answer. You bring the stamina for physical outdoor work in cold, changing weather, on zero-tolerance and two-inch-trigger properties.

Who We Are:

We handle property services for commercial properties in Chicago and across the Chicagoland area. We cover several service categories for the same client, so property managers work with fewer vendors. We move when the weather moves. Last year the first snow came the opening weekend of November.

What You Will Do Each Day:

Clear sidewalks, entrances, walkways, and other designated areas. Operate a snow thrower on assigned walkways. Apply ice-control materials as directed. Work each property to the standard that site requires. Report to your route when dispatched, day or night.
