Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED. Experience in grounds work to include maintaining Athletic Fields and snow removal. Additional experience in general maintenance is preferred.

Direct Responsibilities:

Maintain Athletic Fields Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on all Corporation owned lawn equipment. Prepare Athletic Fields for events. Mow grass, weeding, spray for weeds, apply fertilizers and herbicides. Must be able and willing to help others with maintenance, grounds and custodial as needed, corporation wide. Responsible for snow removal on driveways, parking lots and sidewalks to include the spreading of salt.

Work Environment:

While performing duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical equipment. Work on ladders, scaffolding, and high lifts. Exposed to all weather conditions. May work with toxic or caustic chemicals and be exposed to fumes and airborne particles.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands associated with this position include: Extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing. Able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds regularly. Able to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb often in repetitive motion.
