Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Lawn Care Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and appearance of residential landscapes, ensuring lawns are healthy, green, and well-maintained. This role includes a variety of outdoor tasks involving mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and general groundskeeping duties.Key Responsibilities:
Mow lawns using commercial-grade mowers (push, ride-on, or zero-turn). Trim and edge around trees, shrubs, sidewalks, and flower beds. Blow off debris from walkways, driveways, and other hard surfaces. Apply fertilizers, weed control, and other lawn treatments as needed. Perform basic landscaping tasks such as planting, mulching, and pruning. Monitor the health of lawns and report any issues with pests, disease, or irrigation. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and responsibly. Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work vehicles. Follow company safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in lawn care or landscaping is a plus but not required. Ability to operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers. Physical stamina to perform outdoor manual labor in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends during peak seasons.Work Environment:
Work is performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. May require lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods.Job Types:
