Project Manager, Residential Site Engineering Location:
Indianapolis, IN This is your opportunity to take the lead with a market leader. You'll be serving the biggest clients in the U.S. and in a top 20 new construction housing market. As a result, this position is best suited for an experienced site civil Project Manager or experienced site civil engineering professional with a passion for land development of single-family subdivisions. Established in 1960 and with nearly 90 employees, Weihe Engineers enables its clients with site development projects across the Midwest to build with confidence. Our passionate and experienced professionals deliver best-in-class land surveying, civil engineering, sustainable design, and landscape architecture services. As a Project Manager, you will work alongside our residential development clients from project inception to final delivery to provide the confidence they need from a quality and timely site design. In doing so, you will attend client meetings, coordinate work with our in-house Surveying Department, coordinate and oversee project engineers and designers, coordinate construction document preparation, filing of projects with local, state and federal review agencies, attend agency review meetings and public hearings while maintaining the project budget and client deadlines.   • Bachelor's Degree in a related field is desired (i.e. Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Land Surveyor, Construction Management)
  • Five (5) + years of relevant experience in site development projects (single-family experience preferred; mix of residential and commercial experience will be considered)
  • Professional Engineer's License Preferred (Indiana—other states are a plus)
  • In lieu of license, solid site Project Manager experience will be considered
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus, but not mandatory Your Skills
  • Excellent client, team and project leadership and communications skills
  • Work well in a small team setting
  • Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional department environment
  • Multi-task efficiently
