About the Role We're looking for a dependable and hands-on Building & Grounds Maintenance Technician II to support the day-to-day upkeep of our facilities. In this role, you'll help ensure our buildings and grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained by performing routine maintenance, addressing repairs, and supporting overall facility operations. You'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment for employees and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and taking pride in maintaining high-quality spaces. What You'll Do Conduct routine inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform maintenance and basic repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems. Coordinate with vendors and service providers to complete repairs and maintenance work. Maintain facility grounds, including lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal. Respond to maintenance requests and urgent issues in a timely manner. Assist with facility improvements, renovations, and space setups. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies. Qualifications:
What You'll Need High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance practices. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Basic computer skills for tracking work orders and maintenance records.
