Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas pristine and thriving Operate a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems with precision and safety in mind Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to maintain healthy plant growth Conduct plant identification to select appropriate species for different environments and perform pest management to protect plants from pests and diseases Execute hardscape projects including the installation and repair of pathways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Maintain safety protocols during all activities by using proper protective gear and following established procedures to prevent accidents Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing and winter storm cleanup to keep properties accessible year-round Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of groundskeeping, landscaping, or horticulture practices Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, lawn care equipment, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery Knowledge of plant identification, pesticide management, and soil health principles to support sustainable landscape practices Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while operating equipment or handling chemicals Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor outdoors for extended periods Strong attention to detail for quality workmanship in lawn care, gardening, tree trimming, and grounds maintenance tasks Valid driver's license preferred; familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment operation is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to creating stunning outdoor spaces!
