Foreman About Banhart Outdoor Solutions Banhart Outdoor Solutions LLC is a growing lawn care, landscaping, and outdoor services company serving Northwest Indiana. We provide lawn maintenance, landscaping, hardscaping, drainage, outdoor lighting, property cleanups, and snow removal services for residential and commercial customers. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Laborer to join our team. This is a hands-on, outdoor position for someone who takes pride in their work, is willing to learn, and works well as part of a crew.

Job Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

Mowing residential and commercial properties Trimming, edging, and blowing off properties Installing mulch and decorative rock Installing plants, shrubs, trees, and sod Completing spring and fall property cleanups Weeding landscape beds and trimming shrubs Assisting with drainage projects Assisting with outdoor lighting installations Assisting with paver and retaining wall projects Assisting with concrete preparation and other outdoor construction projects Loading and unloading trucks and trailers Cleaning, fueling, and maintaining equipment Keeping trucks, trailers, equipment, and job sites organized Reporting damaged or malfunctioning equipment Following all company safety procedures and wearing required PPE Performing other duties as assigned by the Foreman or management Winter Responsibilities This position may also include winter operations such as: Assisting with snow plowing and snow removal Shoveling sidewalks and walkways Applying salt and ice melt Working during or following winter weather events as needed Qualifications Reliable and dependable Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Willingness to learn new skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation to work Valid driver's license preferred Previous lawn care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required We are willing to train the right person who is dependable and willing to work. Physical Requirements Applicants must be able to: Lift and carry up to 75 pounds Perform physically demanding work throughout the day Stand and walk for extended periods Work on uneven terrain Frequently bend, kneel, squat, lift, and climb Safely operate landscaping equipment after proper training Work outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and snowy conditions Equipment You May Use Depending on experience and training, employees may operate: Zero-turn and push mowers String trimmers Backpack blowers Hedge trimmers Chainsaws Hand and power tools Mini skid steers Compact tractors Snow removal equipment What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: Show up on time and ready to work Maintain dependable attendance Follow instructions from the Foreman Take pride in producing quality work Work safely and efficiently Take care of company equipment Maintain a professional and respectful attitude Work well with other crew members Represent Banhart Outdoor Solutions LLC professionally around customers and the public
