Job Description

SPING/SUMMER/FALL
  • COMMERCIAL

A HARDSCAPE POSITION
Manage multiple maintenance crews by assigning dedicated tasks and checking work in the field to ensure service is performed properly Ability to skillfully and safely operate commercial lawn mowing equipment Drive a truck and enclosed landscape trailer Perform equipment maintenance for assigned equipment, vehicles and trailers including but not limited to cleaning, fueling, greasing, checking fluid levels, inspecting, documenting, and reporting problems Complete daily reports on work completed and schedule for following day Frequent contact with Village Officials and Utility Company department personnel Must have reliable transportation and driver's license with clean record WINTER
  • SNOW REMOVAL Manage drivers, operators, shoveling crews and sub-contractors for assigned routes Work duration of snowstorms to ensure adequate service is provided Manage fueling and communicate equipment repairs Monitor and report status of salt bins, bag salt and fuel levels with dispatch at the end of events Operate and maintain snow and ice removal equipment Operate bobcat, ATV, twin-axle vehicles and snow blowers
