In this role, you will be actively involved in maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes through hands-on work with lawn care, planting, hardscape installation, and grounds maintenance. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating inviting outdoor areas that clients love to enjoy. Duties Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently to maintain lawns and gardens. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, mulching, and weed control to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive. Conduct tree trimming, shrub shaping, and hardscape installation or repair to enhance landscape aesthetics. Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment. Assist with snow plowing and de-icing during winter months to maintain safe access for clients. Skills Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and grounds maintenance machinery. Experience with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing. Familiarity with irrigation systems, plant identification, pesticide management, and horticulture principles. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows effectively. Knowledge of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation. Strong outdoor work experience with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
