Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of landscape maintenance and the ability to operate power and hand tools effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine groundskeeping tasks to ensure the cleanliness and attractiveness of the property
• Mow, trim, and edge lawns using power tools such as lawnmowers and trimmers
• Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from gardens and walkways
• Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
• Prune trees and shrubs to maintain their health and appearance
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals as needed
• Repair or replace damaged structures such as fences or benches
• Maintain equipment in good working condition by cleaning and performing basic maintenance tasks

Experience:

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
• Familiarity with operating power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers
• Proficiency in using hand tools for gardening tasks
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
