Maintenance Supervisor Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (32 hours/week) •Fridays Off•Primary Duties Mow and trim City-owned property using mowers and weed eaters. Water plants and landscaping as needed. Pick up trash in parks and public areas. Stock restrooms and ensure cleanliness of public facilities. Lift and haul brush, branches, and other debris. Perform general maintenance tasks as assigned. Skills and Abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to safely operate lawn care and maintenance equipment. Ability to lift and move up to 90 pounds and perform physical labor outdoors. Good communication skills and a customer service mindset. Work Environment Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Regular physical activity including lifting, bending, walking, and kneeling.

This position requires the ability to work independently, work well with others, and perform in a team environment on a daily basis.

Latitude:
Duties are assigned by supervisor. Most problem-solving is accomplished in conjunction with supervisor.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Experience operating mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, and hand tools. Skills Ability to work with minimum supervision. Ability to operate lawn care equipment and machinery. Ability to meet and deal tactfully with the general public and communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing.
Certification/License:
