Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues for optimal plant health. Conduct groundskeeping duties such as leaf removal, snow plowing during winter months, and debris cleanup to keep outdoor spaces tidy year-round. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care; apply horticultural knowledge for healthy growth. Follow all safety protocols diligently while operating equipment like excavators or tree care tools to prevent accidents. Assist with pest management by understanding pesticide application procedures when necessary for plant health. Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, excavators, and irrigation systems. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as lawn care, hardscape installation, gardening, and tree care. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification and soil management. Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while handling power tools and heavy machinery.
