Schendel Lawn & Landscape is hiring Mowing Crew Members in Lawrence. No professional landscaping experience is required—we'll train the right person. What you'll do As a Mowing Crew Member, you'll help maintain beautiful residential and commercial properties throughout the Lawrence area.

Your day-to-day work will include:

Operating commercial mowers Mowing, trimming and edging lawns Using weed eaters, blowers, and other landscaping equipment Following proper mowing techniques to protect customer lawns and property Maintaining a clean, professional appearance at each property Working safely and efficiently as part of a crew Providing customers with a great experience through quality workmanship Don't have experience? That's okay. We provide on-the-job training and will teach you how to safely operate our equipment and perform professional lawn-care techniques. What we're looking for Dependable attendance and punctuality A positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work outdoors in varying Kansas weather conditions Ability to safely learn and operate different types of lawn care equipment Pride in doing quality work and paying attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Reliable transportation to and from our office Must be at least 18 years old Previous mowing or landscaping experience is helpful, but not required Physical requirements This is an active, outdoor position. Employees should be able to regularly stand, kneel and stoop for extended periods and push, pull and lift up to 85 pounds. Why work at Schendel?
