Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Mower/Landscaper and bring outdoor spaces to life with your expertise! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful lawns, gardens, and landscapes through skilled mowing, trimming, planting, and landscape upkeep. Your enthusiasm for horticulture and landscape maintenance will help create inviting environments that inspire and delight. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your landscaping skills, and contribute to the transformation of outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes. Responsibilities Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, hand tools, and power tools to maintain lawns and gardens efficiently. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, tree care, shrub trimming, and garden bed upkeep. Use excavators and other construction machinery for hardscape projects like patios, walkways, or retaining walls when needed. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues promptly. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible. Assist with general maintenance tasks such as fence repairs, landscape cleanup, and equipment upkeep. Apply horticultural knowledge to promote healthy plant growth and sustainable landscaping practices. Experience Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, and excavators. Basic mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Knowledge of landscape design principles, tree care techniques, and garden management is a plus. Experience in construction or hardscape installation is advantageous but not mandatory.
