Groundskeeper Job Responsibilities:

Maintain lawns, landscaped areas, sidewalks, parking lots, and outdoor spaces. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges to promote healthy growth and appearance. Plant trees, flowers, shrubs, and other landscape materials. Operate and maintain lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal equipment as needed. Safely use a variety of hand and power tools. fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other landscape treatments according to safety guidelines. Assist with landscaping projects, seasonal clean-up, and other grounds maintenance tasks. Complete basic records related to work performed and communicate with supervisors as needed. Support special projects and other duties assigned.

Groundskeeper Job Qualifications:

Previous landscaping, lawn care, grounds maintenance, or related outdoor maintenance experience preferred. Valid driver's license required. Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and power tools. Knowledge of tree and shrub care, planting techniques, and general landscape maintenance is preferred. Ability to read basic diagrams or work from verbal instructions. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. IND 2
