Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscaper and bring outdoor spaces to life with your expertise! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential, commercial, or public landscapes through skilled landscaping, planting, and hardscape installation. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure every project is executed to the highest standards, creating beautiful, functional outdoor environments. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor areas pristine and healthy. Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering efficiency for plants and lawns. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health management. Manage landscape projects involving hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for planting, digging, trimming, and other landscaping activities. Conduct tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal with appropriate safety procedures. Apply pesticides responsibly following safety guidelines to protect plants from pests while maintaining a safe environment. Experience Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening with a solid understanding of horticulture principles. Mechanical knowledge of equipment such as excavators, lawnmowers, snow plows, and other landscaping machinery. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting. Construction experience related to hardscape installation or landscape architecture is highly desirable. Knowledge of plant identification techniques and proper pruning methods for trees and shrubs. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Previous experience in snow plowing or seasonal landscape services is a plus.
