Golf Course Maintenance Worker

Duties Maintain the golf course grounds by mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating turf areas using mowing equipment and power tools to ensure a smooth playing surface. Assist with irrigation system operation, repairs, and adjustments to keep the course properly watered and healthy. Conduct routine inspections of the course for hazards or damaged areas and perform necessary repairs or report issues promptly. Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to implement golf course projects that improve overall course aesthetics and functionality. Qualifications Prior experience or knowledge in golf course maintenance, lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued. Familiarity with irrigation systems, power tools, hand tools, and golf course maintenance equipment is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety when handling equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and other power tools. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting course maintenance operations.
