Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - IR Job Type Travel Immerse yourself in the rolling bluegrass hills of Georgetown, Kentucky—where Southern charm, historic sites, and picturesque horse country combine for a truly unique travel nursing experience. Working here means balancing enriching professional development with memorable adventures, whether you're sampling local cuisine, exploring hiking trails, or enjoying weekend cultural festivals. This assignment offers a gateway to broaden your resume, deepening your expertise while learning from seasoned clinical leaders and varied teams.
Schedule:
Day shifts: 4x10-hour (07:00 - 17:30) Call required
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum 2 years' Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required At least 1 year of Neuro experience (either specifically Neuro IR or Neuro in a general ICU setting) Hands-on Neuro IR procedure background required Experience across the lifespan—comfortable supporting neonates to geriatric patients in procedural care Required certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
Prior travel nursing experience mandatory Applicants must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
Responsibilities:
Deliver competent, compassionate care to patients undergoing a variety of IR and Neuro IR procedures Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimum patient outcomes Monitor patients before, during, and post-procedure, providing specialized support to a diverse patient base Triage, assess, and manage changes in patient status with flexibility and critical thinking Participate in on-call service, demonstrating agility and rapid response proficiency
