All positions are paid, offering valuable hands-on experience in groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, and security operations. Responsibilities Operate power tools such as trimmers, mowers, hedge cutters, and other landscaping equipment to maintain lawns, gardens, and hardscape areas Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and weed control to uphold aesthetic standards Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and landscape health Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Apply pesticides or fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plant health and prevent pest infestations Conduct security patrols around the property to monitor for unauthorized access or safety concerns Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries Picking up garbage Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or gardening preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools essential for efficient operation Familiarity with plant identification and horticulture practices beneficial for maintaining healthy landscapes Knowledge of pesticide management, irrigation systems, and hardscape maintenance a plus Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively in various weather conditions Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments Experience with tree trimming, lawn care, gardening, and general landscape maintenance is highly desirable
