Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic outdoor team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty and health of various outdoor spaces through hands-on landscaping, groundskeeping, and equipment operation. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will ensure that all landscapes are well-kept, vibrant, and inviting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in diverse environments while contributing to the aesthetic appeal and functionality of landscaped areas. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, mulching, and edging to keep outdoor spaces attractive and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools safely and efficiently Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and pest management; apply pesticides following safety protocols when necessary Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal watering schedules Conduct routine inspections of landscapes for hazards or damage, performing tree trimming or ground repairs as needed Follow safety procedures diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries while working outdoors with power tools and heavy equipment Assist with landscape installation projects including hardscape features like pathways or retaining walls when required Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Demonstrated knowledge of horticulture principles, plant identification, lawn care practices, and tree care techniques Familiarity with operating grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, power tools, irrigation systems, and other landscaping machinery Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while handling chemicals like pesticides and operating power equipment Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions Basic mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine maintenance Join our team if you're passionate about creating beautiful outdoor environments!
