Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools safely and efficiently to maintain lawns and landscapes Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to enhance aesthetic appeal Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support healthy growth and proper plant care Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote safety and plant health while adhering to safety protocols Maintain grounds by installing hardscape features like pathways or retaining walls when required Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and injuries Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or background in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and irrigation systems essential for efficient operation Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and pesticide management Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools with precision Knowledge of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments is mandatory Excellent physical stamina for prolonged periods of outdoor activity in various weather conditions Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interactions when necessary Join us in creating stunning outdoor spaces!
