Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance/Grounds Keeper to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. This role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and groundskeeping tasks to support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will bring mechanical aptitude, technical skills, and a strong work ethic to keep our premises in top condition. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building interior systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical equipment. Conduct repairs on small, simple electrical equipment. Maintain grounds by mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, planting flowers, and performing landscaping tasks to enhance curb appeal. Carry out carpentry projects such as repairs or installations of fixtures, doors, or fencing using hand tools and carpentry skills. Handle maintenance painting projects to keep interior and exterior surfaces looking fresh and professional. Troubleshoot issues with facilities equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical panels, and other building infrastructure. Supervise or assist with maintenance operations ensuring safety protocols are followed during all repair activities. Requirements Proven experience with maintenance, repair, and operations within a residential or commercial settings. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, and other needed devices or equipment. Electrical experience including repair of electrical equipment and understanding of electrical systems. Skills in plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as HVAC system troubleshooting and servicing. Ability to perform welding tasks safely when required for repairs or fabrication projects. Conduct repairs, maintenance, lawn care on property owned by the owners. Knowledge of building interior maintenance including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general facilities upkeep. Strong communication skills in English for clear reporting and teamwork coordination. Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for overseeing maintenance activities or mentoring team members.
