Job Description Maintain landscaping and the surrounding public areas. Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance as prescribed or assigned. Install, repair, and perform periodic maintenance to sprinkler and irrigation systems. Safely and effectively operate lawn mower, weed trimmer, edger, chainsaw, power trimmer, and other equipment used in lawn and ground maintenance. Safely and properly apply chemicals including but not limited to fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. Plant grass, trees, flowers, and shrubs using gardening tools. Maintain driveways, parking lots, and walkways by removing debris, litter, snow and/or ice. Assist with basic maintenance to equipment. Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications High school diploma is preferred. One (1) year of prior experience as a landscaper or groundskeeper preferred. Must possess basic knowledge of necessary equipment and the appropriate safety standards. Must be able to perform duties in direct exposure to the weather which may include periods of extreme heat, cold, or inclement weather. Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
