The Seasonal Grounds Staff, under supervision of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent will perform work involving the use of small equipment, including hand mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hover mowers, and other mowing/maintenance equipment. Functions

• Mows greens with hand greens mowers.
• Mows tees and approaches with hand tee and approach mower.
• Operate small equipment such as string trimmers, backpack blowers, rotary mowers and other small engine equipment.
• Ensures that equipment is operating properly at all times; refills fuel daily; cleans equipment daily; and reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately.
• Provides basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by equipment manager superintendent or assistant superintendent, and returns equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility.
• Provides routine bunker maintenance such as daily raking, and weekly string trimming and rotary mowing.
• Wears club issued employee uniform.
• Uses all safety equipment needed for the job.
• Performs regular cleaning of golf maintenance facility.
• Removes refuse and trash from grounds.
• Fills and smooth's divots on playing surfaces.
• Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.
