Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a part-time landscaper and bring outdoor spaces to life with your energy and expertise! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes through hands-on work and technical knowledge. Whether you're trimming, mowing, planting, or operating grounds maintenance equipment, your efforts will help create inviting outdoor environments that inspire and delight. This position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping and groundskeeping while working outdoors in a vibrant setting. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming to ensure well-kept grounds. Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to promote healthy plant growth. Identify various plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees to support proper horticultural care and landscape design. Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and promote healthy growth. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to outdoor areas. Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and injuries. Skills Mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools and grounds maintenance equipment operation. Experience with landscape maintenance including mowing, planting, pruning, and fertilizing. Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes. Ability to identify different plant species and understand basic horticulture principles. Knowledge of pesticide management practices adhering to safety standards. Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, inspection, and repair techniques. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to power tools and outdoor equipment use.
